What are the delivery costs?

At the very bottom of our site, you’ll find a “delivery” tab. Delivery costs depend on the value of your order and your location.

You can also collect your parcel free of charge from our warehouse in Villers-la-Ville, Belgium. Most of our products are personalised directly in our printing workshops in Walloon Brabant.

What are the delivery times?

Most of our products are delivered within less than 15 days. In fact, our customisable gift boxes are ready and delivered within 15 days. This gives you a great deal of creative freedom, allowing you to adapt your packaging very quickly to suit your needs. This is made possible by the central location of our stock in Europe.

How are the boxes delivered?

Most of our boxes are delivered flat-packed, making them quick and easy to assemble.

These customisable gift boxes are delivered flat to save space during delivery. They are very easy to assemble and will only take a few seconds. Examples of boxes delivered flat are Flatbox, Flowerbox (the lid is delivered already assembled separately) and Postpack.

However, we also offer pre-assembled boxes, such as the Hingbox.

How can I change my delivery address?

Notify us by sending an e-mail within 48 hours of your order to info.centurybox@mainetti.com or call us on +32(0) 71 87 49 13. We will notify you of the change of address and you will receive your parcel at the right place.

How can I track my parcel?

To enable you to track your order, you will receive a tracking number which will allow you to observe the progress of your parcel. The supplier will be indicated. Thanks to the tracking number, you will be able to follow your parcel in real time and plan its arrival.

Can I cancel my order?

It is not possible to cancel your order directly on our site. However, once you have received your order, you have 5 days to send us a letter by recorded delivery to inform us of your comments at the following address: Rue de Thyle 29, 1495, Villers la Ville Belgium. If you decide to return your order, you will be responsible for the return postage costs.

Can I change my order?

To change your order, please contact us as soon as possible at the following e-mail address: info.centurybox@mainetti.com or on the following telephone number: +32 71 87 49 13.

I’ve received the wrong parcel, what should I do?

If the parcel does not correspond to your order, please contact us via info.centurybox@mainetti.com. We will take care of the return costs and send you the correct parcel. It is very important to provide a few photos showing the incorrect packaging in order to speed up the procedure.

I’ve received a faulty parcel?

There are several possible cases:

Damaged box: if the transport box is damaged, contact the carrier.
Damaged contents: if the contents of the box are damaged, please contact us via info@centurybox.be. We will ask you to take a few photos of your damaged parcel to speed up the procedure.

How do I place an order?

To place an order, go to the product page that interests you. Choose the dimensions, colours and quantities you want and click on “add to basket”. You can customise your product in an easy-to-use module. All you need is basic graphics skills to use it. People with more advanced graphic skills can also use the offline customisation module.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Centuryprint offers you the opportunity to order your personalised packaging in very small quantities. For most of the products we offer, you will be able to order from one carton. Depending on the product, this box will be filled with 10, 25 or 50 units.

Can I order a single box or other customised packaging?

No, the minimum order is 1 box. Almost our entire range of personalised gift packaging is available in very small quantities. This gives you the opportunity to order personalised packaging in small quantities.

What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD and bank transfer. Bank transfer orders will be accepted as soon as payment is received, which usually takes 2-3 days.

Why do I have to give my VAT number?

Depending on the country to which you are having your order delivered, taxes may be payable.

Intra-Community system

If you have a valid intra-Community VAT number on the VIES Europe site, you can order from Centuryprint without having to pay VAT. Except if the delivery is in Belgium.

Example:

I am a company in France, and I have my order delivered to Belgium = application of Belgian VAT (21%).
I am a French company and I have my order delivered to Paris = 0% (VAT not to be paid in advance).
National system

With a Belgian VAT number, I order from a Belgian website and have the goods delivered to Belgium. I pay the 21% VAT to Centurybox. I will then arrange for the VAT to be reimbursed at a later date.

Extra-Community scheme

USA, India, Switzerland, etc. I don’t need to give my VAT number. VAT will not be advanced (except if delivery is in Belgium = 21% VAT).

How do I receive my invoice?

The invoice is enclosed with your order. In addition, you will receive an invoice by e-mail when your order is validated.

What is matt or gloss lamination?

To protect the paper, we use the laminating technique (also known as lamination) to stick a plastic film onto the paper to protect it from moisture and dust. Matt lamination, as the name suggests, is matt with a satin finish. Gloss lamination, also sometimes called glossy paper, gives a varnished effect to the packaging. This glossy paper enhances your box and makes it stand out even more.

What are the most environmentally-friendly products?

The most environmentally-friendly products are made from uncoated kraft paper and, if possible, from a single component. For example, a cotton bag is made entirely of cotton. A Box or Safari kraft paper bag is made entirely of paper.

On the other hand, a Flatbox magnetic box, even if it’s made of cardboard and paper, still has magnets and glue or Velcro for permanent closure. This doesn’t mean it can’t be safely disposed of in cardboard waste, but it’s worth noting that it won’t be biodegradable in the short term. We’ve developed Smartflat boxes that don’t have a magnet precisely for this more environmentally-friendly use. What’s more, our customisable gift boxes with lids are easily biodegradable. There’s the Campana, or the Flowerbox, which are ecologically responsible personalisable gift boxes. The Postpack dispatch box is also available in kraft paperboard, making it a very environmentally-friendly customisable dispatch box.

What products are specific to food?

For a pack to be food-safe, the paper must be treated for direct contact with food. Here is a list of our food products:

Can I order unprinted products from Centuryprint?

No, to order generic packaging, please visit Centuryshop.eu. The products sold on Centuryshop are “generic”, i.e. neutral. The minimum quantity is 50 units and the delivery time is 2 days.

What should I do if the product I’m interested in is no longer in stock?

Please contact us at info.centurybox@mainetti.com and we’ll let you know if the product is available. We can also advise you on how to find similar products.

What do the dimensions on the site correspond to?

They correspond to the inside dimensions.

What size/weight are my boxes?

How is the tissue paper packaged?

Tissue paper is delivered in reams of 480 sheets for the 75 * 50 cm format or 240 sheets for the 75 * 100 cm format. A ream generally weighs +/- 4 kg.

What are the advantages of digital printing on personalised packaging?

Digital printing is also known as digital printing. You can produce small runs quickly (no need to use printing tools such as screen printing plates or magnesium plates, offset, Flexogravure, etc). Digital printing enables us to print in 4 colours (four-colour process = CMYK) on our entire collection of packaging on cardboard and paper. This technique has a lower definition than offset printing for logos, but allows photos, illustrations and multicolour drawings to be printed in very high quality. Centurybox Group has developed know-how over the last 4 years in unique digital printing thanks to a machine that is 100% customised to our needs. Printing is by ink jet with UV lamp drying. Pantone direct tone printing is not possible. The colours are obtained by mixing the 4 primary colours + 2 light colours. The only direct tone printable colour on our machine is white.

What type of personalised packaging can be printed digitally?

What are the advantages of flexographic printing on personalised packaging?

Flexography is an ancient printing technique that involves attaching a flexible pad to a printing cylinder. Printing is then done by pressing the ink pad onto the substrate (paper). This low-cost technique makes it possible to print in 1 or 2 colours (it is not possible to take photographs or superimpose colours) only on materials that are also generally low-cost, such as our Safari and/or Box paper bag collections. This makes it possible to print on these materials at an attractive price. Printing can be done in Pantone direct tone colours. The precision is less than that of screen, hot-foil or offset printing.

On what type of packaging can flexographic printing be used?

Flexo printing is available on a wide variety of gift boxes, magnetic boxes, paper bags and reusable bags.

What are the advantages of screen printing on personalised packaging?

Screen printing is based on the stencil concept. We make a plate, called a screen printing frame, which allows a colour of ink to pass through a sieve to print a logo and/or a stylised design. We are equipped to print a maximum of 1 or 2 colours. Screen printing is a high coverage technique. This allows us to print matt colours (not glossy like hot printing) from the Pantone range, for example. Screen printing can be used on cotton, paper or cardboard. Precision is excellent.

What are the advantages of offset printing on personalised packaging?

Offset printing, unlike the other techniques mentioned above, is the only printing technique that cannot be used on stock boxes/bags. Offset printing (from 1 to 6 colours) must be done on sheets of paper or cardboard which are then glued to thicker cardboard such as our magnetic boxes, or used directly to assemble a paper bag. It’s not possible to produce very small runs using offset printing because it takes a long time to get these big machines up and running. However, for larger print runs (from 500 units upwards) it is starting to make economic sense. The quality of offset printing is excellent in both spot colours (Pantone) and four-colour process.
